The Female Accountant was born from a simple Google search. When Emiley Phillips typed “female accountant UK” and found… nothing, she knew something had to change.
Accounting had long been a male-dominated industry, and Emiley had experienced the challenges firsthand. She saw female business owners struggling to find financial support that was clear, empowering, and free from outdated jargon.
Then came COVID-19. As the world stood still, women built businesses, launched side hustles, and turned passion projects into livelihoods. But many feared the same financial barriers Emiley had faced. They needed an accountant who understood them—one who spoke their language and truly cared about their success.
That’s why The Female Accountant exists today. More than just a an accountancy practice, it’s a fresh, modern approach to finance—one that’s calm, clear, and supportive.
